If Vito Antuofermo is in the 100 ATG, then yes. Both are in the higher echelon of chins. Both couldn't punch for **** and couldn't hold onto the title for **** either. I'm not saying either is great, I'm saying Jake LaMotta is not > Vito Antuofermo.
80 - Jim Driscoll 81 - Panama Al Brown 82 - Pascual Perez 83 - Lloyd Marshall 84 – Jake LaMotta 85 - Juan Manuel Marquez 86 – Wilfred Benitez 87 – Nonpareil Jack Dempsey 88 – Erik Morales 89 – Marco Antonio Barrera 90 - Young Griffo
No. LaMotta's win over Robinson is like Rahman's win over Lewis. Keep in time SRR weighed only 144 1/2 pounds, and was below 140 for many of his fights before that. LaMotta was a much bigger man at 160 3/4. Robinson had two wins over Lamotta around that time 1942/43 and three more wins over LaMotta in later years. One win over an ATG does not make someone an all-time great.
