No. Not yet. He's had his step up fight and his limitations are clear. Hard to hype him onwards. If he fights the guy he's rumoured to next and wins then you can't knock him. People are quite harsh on Charles Martin also. He's still the best prospect in American HW boxing. Which is the real problem You need to stop sending all your physical talent to play stupid soy boy ball games. Wilder came from the shadows which is seemingly the route for American heavys.
Anderson still has a lot to learn and he will only learn it if his opponents are gradually stepped up in quality, as was the case with Martin.
Still the best prospect the American scene has and probably the best under 25 y/o guy out there. He isn't a Mike Tyson destructive puncher but has the tools to be a champ down line.
Charles Martin is a fighter that may have been improving lately so a ko over him wasn't necessary. Anderson is undefeated and he just took part in what sounds like an entertaining fight. Isn't that what boxing is all about? Entertaining fights? If so then Anderson is doing very well and delivering the services that he is paid to deliver.
He needs to quit talk like I'm out of here at 27 because I'm so good. Fact is he has a number of deficiences in his game that will need ironed out before he gets near a strap to have a chance. Right now he is not ready.
