I want to be his fan, but this ^^^. He's just trying to trade his athleticism for enough money to get him a good start in life. He doesn't care about being a great fighter. If he could get picked up by the NBA he'd be happier. I try to never expose myself to the fighters' opinions/personal stories or any attempt to get me emotionally invested in their career any more. Recently it tends to make me dislike them and it's none of my business what they think about anything. Like actors or musicians. They are images on a glowie screen that I pay to be entertained by.
He's young, shows promise, and there is definitely room for improvement. Not buying his BS about not being ''buzzed'' by Prince Charlie Martin though. The interviewer went easy on him by using that word but he still denied it. He was one billion percent ''buzzed'' at the very least. I think he was hurt but not to the extent he wasn't in control of his faculties This content is protected
Well he's coming on well and is very good for his age. His next 5 steps should be interesting as he steps up.
He's American and well-promoted. He has good power and speed. That's it. He doesn't have anything that could make him more than a fluke champion. His defence is terrible, he's already aged a decade or more just from the amount of left hands he eats daily. The closest thing to a threat he's been in with was a short notice Charles Martin who rocked him numerous times and took him the distance. Put him in with Kossobutskiy (now that he has a 'loss' and his reputation has diminished) and see how he likes those left hands.
He was getting hit often again, by a slow 39 year old who hadn't fought in two years and is short with little reach and mediocre power. Anderson is getting ko'd when he faces a live body, if he doesn't fix his defense.
No, not at all, he ain't beat nothing but some bums, Charles Martin gave him fits. No sense in hyping him all up like he's the one. He's not. He is a decent heavyweight but that is it.
