I think Kessler is Taylor made for Taylor. Kessler doesn't have the punching power of Pavlik. Like Cotto; the additiona weight for Taylor will help him take a punch because he isn't draining himself to make weight. I think Taylor outboxes him pretty easily!
Kessler has more than enough power to trouble Taylor and a faster jab than Pavlik, too. Defensively, theres no comparison either; Taylor's going to be eating as much and landing less. Accumulation stoppage or Kessler wide UD.
Right on my man! This certainly wouldn't be easy for either fighter, and for people to be on here stating so "matter of fact" that Taylor couldn't even win a couple rounds just kills my soul. Haters.:bbb
I like Taylor - I thought he was being wrongly run down for a while and I wanted him to beat Pavlik in the rematch. But at 168 against a technical, big, strong Kessler, I only see one winner.
Dude, quit making fun of the children of Glasgow ... I'm sure your bro in the pic doesn't appreciate what a **** you are ...
Let's just hope the fight gets made. I will stand my ground, you'll stand yours, one of us will be right the other wrong, and may the best man win.:hey JT is gonna tear some **** up, yall just watch and see......when he gets done fishing.
Not a trick question, but was there any particular reason why?? I'll tell you too, I'm more confident in this than you would probably realise. I would have taken Miranda over Kessler. He just does not impress me at all, and all these qualities that are constantly pointed out, I just do not see.
Because Taylor hasn't shirked any challenges since he beat Hopkins in the first fight. He was happy to fight a second time, then he fought Wright, Spinks and Pavlik. He could have sat on those names for a long time but he clearly wants to challenge himself. After the KO to Pavlik, it takes guts to try to avenge that, I admired him for stepping up again. And everyone was calling him all sorts of things, so I was rooting for him.
Kessler does all the basics right. He's got good boxing, more than enough to dispose most boxers in the world. What Kessler lacked in his fight with Calzaghe was the mental nous. Experience and being faced with adversity. Kessler didn't get beaten up or exposed, Kessler will have learned from that fight that for all the good technique, you need to use your brain a bit more.
