Enzo C would derail Kessler's career. Kessler isn't the natural boxer that Joe is. Joe feels his way through fights which is something Kessler cannot do. Kessler needs gameplans and clear instructions which is something Enzo never works on. Enzo would get him into shape for 12 hard rounds of boxing but would provide no advance in the Dane's actual boxing style or ability.

I think David Haye hit the nail on the head when he said "Mr Bean could have trained Joe and he would have been a world champion"

Enzo Calzaghe is so over-rated it's untrue. If you take Joe out of his stable, what has he actually achieved?

Couldn't agree more. Enzo isn't a trainer, he just trains with Joe. When questioned about his strategy for the Hopkins fight he said he'll just do what he always does and let Joe do his thing. He wasn't bluffing either. He said himself some people might think it arrogant or naive, well it was actually arrogant and naive.

I have and he got exposed as a one dimensional fighter against Calzaghe as I knew he would. Calzaghe beat him in each and every way. Calzaghe even stood and outboxed him with ease from the outside and Calzaghe in turned looked like an amateur trying to hit a 43 year old Hopkins. Calzaghe couldn't land a jab to save his life. Just shows you the difference in level of defense.

Taylor has a better chance than Pavlik in my opinion but I still pick Kessler to beat both clearly.

As Jermain showed in both of his fights with Pavlik, he was outjabbed. Kessler is more consistant with this jab, it's more accurate and faster than Kelly's. JT has better handspeed than Kessler but so did Mundine. Kessler is more powerful than he is and despite his lack of head movement, he has a better defense and he is a more accurate puncher. I can easily see Kessler dropping 1-2's on Taylor that will have more effect on him than Pavlik's did due to his speed and accuracy. Taylor was able to pick off some of Pavlik's.

Now Pavlik, though more powerful and active than Taylor, is slower of both hand and foot, is not as fluid and is more hittable. Kessler with his greater handspeed, defense and footwork will be able to tag Pavlik constantly with jabs and straight right hands down the middle and than get out of the way, not letting Pavlik get off the same way Andrade did. People will say that Kessler folds under pressure only judging his fight with Calzaghe but really, it was Calzaghe's ability to adapt, throw punches from odd angles and speed that offset Kessler.

Kessler went 12 rounds with Andrade, who is bigger than Pavlik with a better chin, and was pressured all the way through.

Well, if you had the same three judges from the first fight scoring the same way for the second fight, it would have been Taylor's night.

Stupid. Calzaghe boxed kessler on the outside because he had to.

Before the fight most thought, that this was about Kessler losing if calzaghe managed to get on the inside. Kessler proved that his precision and countering - another quality many still state that he has not - combined with him being the harder puncher forced Calzaghe to aviate from his well known flurry-strategy. Calzaghe proved class by switching strategy and even more so by taking Kessler on the outside.
Actually a good call from Blocky, whom for his own shitty behaviour sometimes get to little acknowledgement.

I resent from talking about the Hopkins fight with types like you. hell you dont even post your statement with any respect for Hopkins. Hopkins is an old fox, he used every trick in the book, but he surely didnt come to fight.
