Is Jermain Taylor's Chin Ruined???

    He's been KOed in 3 of his last five fights. And looking at the slow mo replay of his KO loss to Abraham, its hard to see how that punch knocked him out. It like it just tapped him. It didn't snap his head back or anything. I think he should call it a career and not risk any more head trauma because it seems like he's had enough.

    Wasn't that great to begin with. He just disguised it by fighting older and lighter-weight fighters. As soon as he started fighting PRIME middleweights, he started getting knocked out.

    That punch landed real good and hard, this isn't the first time Abraham knocks someone out in the 12th so Abraham does carry power all the way and it has been proven many times. The punch landed really good and Taylor was hurt from a punch before that if you open your eyes properly and watch the entire round. These punches may look like taps on TV but trust me they aren't and if that "tap" dropped a tired Taylor out cold, it would drop you dead.

    I'll knock Arthur's little ass the **** out. You too.!

    Besides that.... yeah I know Arthur can crack, but still it it didn't seem like the kind of shot that would put him out as bad as it did. I just wondered if the Pavlik ko, froch ko had taken something out of him.

    Of course they took away from him but he obviously prepared well for this fight and was actually winning early till he ran out of gas as expected. Watch the entire round man, Abraham cracked him with a shot before that one and it obviously hurt Taylor then he followed up with the right hand. Watch the slow motion replay in your video and how it lands, it landed really hard on someone that was already hurt from a punch before that. Here's the last two rounds, scroll off the 11th and watch the entire 12th, only 3 minutes, won't hurt to watch it.

    I understand what your saying, but I guess I'm just looking at it scientifically. Knockouts are caused by the brain slamming into the skull, and It was just hard for me to see how that punch concussed him so badly. It clear as day when you see a guy's head snap, and rotate etc.....but too me it looked like his chin had eroded pretty noticeably.

    The short-straight right is Arthur's best punch. All that wild-looping **** that Ray Charles could see coming is pretty meaningless. That short-straight right is deadly, and often the punch that sets up his KO's.

    He has been knocked out too many times. You can tell they were concusion like inuries to go with the stops. So ****in dangerous for him. I pray he will not fight and be remembered as a great warrior.

    yes his chin is ruined! sadly..one of my favorite fighters and one who got beat by the right man (so i thought)...

    He is done...I would like to see him make one more run when he is ready, but if not than I c why....can't take those kind of beatings and knockouts...and yes his chin has been ruined since kelly
