Is Jermall Charlo a great fighter?

    He has a great jab, decent defense, exceptional power, and he is great at keeping his distance. I would say he is a Danny Garcia 2.0. He has good power and his killer instinct is second to none. What are your thoughts about Jermall Charlo?

    Underwhelming. Nearly 32 years old with no significant fights. Punked out when Danny Jacobs had him pressed against the wall.

    I think he has solid foundational skills and is therefore a good fighter, but he has not the body of work that would suggest he is great.

    He is entertaining to watch. But he should have lost against both Korobov and Deryvachenko. Especially against Korobov

    Nothing special and in a very weak dicison. I don't rate Eubank JR giggly but I would even favour him against Charlo.

    He is not that good, He has a good jab buts that is all to be honest. He gets away with a lot of things because of his size, he is a weight bully who should be fighting at light heavyweight. He looked terrible against Montiel who is a nobody from mexico and got knocked out cold by Mungia...But he gave Charlo a hard fight even rocked him a few times. Arguably lost too Matt Korobov a guy who came in on a weeks notice and was preparing for an 8 rounder. Mostly he has just looked good against little guys but when he fights someone at a proper weight class or who is just good he will get beat.

    No, he is not. He was terrible against Montiel, almost knocked out. Montiel made him do the chicken dance at one point.

    To be fair, his resume is better than it appears to those who are unaware of the little racket the twins have been pulling for all of their careers (ie. the switcheroo after the weigh in where Jermallo weighs in and then come fight night his opponents are facing a 200lb Jermallo in the ring) because it's actually him who beat all Jermello's opponents

    My estimate regarding his weight has clearly been off by at least 50-75lbs though because he's obviously coming in way heavier than that. He's coming in at 250lbs bare minimum but I suspect it's more like 275lbs

    Check this out. Mike looks like a freaking 122 pounder compared to him :facepalm:
