    According to the sources I have;
    Fitzsimmons 1. 218lbs
    Fitzsimmons 2. 219lbs
    Corbett 1. 218lbs
    Corbett 2. 210lbs
    Ruhlin 2. 218lbs
    Sharkey 1. 205lbs
    Sharkey 2. 210lbs
    Those are his major fights whilst in his prime,no 225lbs scaled in any of them,Jeffries average weight for these his major fights is 214lbs.
    I exclude his comeback fight ,when he was clearly not prime.

    Jeffries dried out (dehydrated), so is probably a bit bigger than his weight.

    Very likely, but he never weighed 225lbs for a fight when he was at his prime fitness.Which is what I was arguing against.
    " his prime weight was two twenty five.".

    Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it. He was a little bit chubby for Munroe, but he was tired of training down in weight, and was not so sure it was helping him. He trained seriously though for Munroe, because he wanted to pulverize him and shut him up, given that he was saying Munroe had been making false claims about their exhibition bout, which irked him. And he destroyed Munroe quick. Afterwards all the sportswriters were saying Jeffries was invincible.
