He doesn't even try to hide it. At times it's downright disrespectful to the fighters and viewers.

    Last Saturday was terrible.

He's a good play by play announcer, but I've noticed he crosses the line from time to time with some of the things he says.

I remember the Barrera-Hamed fight quite vividly still. When MAB was beating him up, in the later rounds Lampley started making mention of Allah and how he must've wanted Hamed to lose the fight. It seemed so unnecessary at the time, happened right after 9/11 I believe, and I remember Foreman was the co-announcer that night and he really seemed infuriated by Lampley's remarks on religion.

He's a good announcer in general, but he definitely lets his emotions and personal feelings get the best of him from time to time during his play by play.

    He is terrible.
He ****s up the true perspective of the fight.
I have to turn the sound off to watch any fight where he is doing the play by play.
    HE HAS NEVER boxed.
    He has a bias agenda.

Is there any commentator, or any person for that matter, that fully pleases everyone?. The answer is no.

No. The Brits on Box Nation are much worse when they're covering a British fighter. And they only seem bad, because we don't know what the Spanish, Russian, and Japanese commentators are saying.

Nowhere near as bias as showtime commentators for a Floyd fight. He makes someone miss and "master" "magician" etc, through the whole damm fight. Might as well get in the corner and suck his **** in between rounds. I suppose they did have to protect their $250 investment.

He's not awful but can be a little biased at times. I enjoy his commentating though. I just can't stand 2 things: 1) calling missed punches (phantom punches) and 2) verbalizing what a boxer is probably thinking.

My problem is his inaccurate fight calling. Punches that are blocked, partially blocked, or out right miss the target should be called as such.

I think his emotions get the better of him at times, and he gets excited "like a boxing fan." Lamps has to control that stuff. It really bugs me when he calls punches that didn't land.

It was horrible and on full display in the Pac-Bradley fight. Pac throws a left that completely misses "HARD LEFT HAND ON THE CHIN!!" Horrible play by play in that fight.
