True. That's a lot of land though.

Here's one; how many Australians/Kiwis would feasibly feature in a top 100?! Not counting Bob Fitzsimmons ;-) :think

Here's a better one; who has more guys who could feasibly attain the ranking we're talking of; Africa or Asia?

Glad Foster got a mention, he was a beast.

Shame no-body thought about Marciano, no-one threw hooks like he did. He tourqued his whole body into shots, there's a great photo of him landing a shot with every muscle & limb in union, a picture perfect punch. They measured the force he generated with his right hand & it was similar to being hit by a small car.

Wilde all time is a great shout but all truly great punchers with Jackson-esque power are born not made.

Currently Abraham is probably the hardest puncher.

All time, Wilde, Jackson, Ketchel, Robinson & Louis merit a good shout

    Oh and Tua's left hook.

Abraham really he does have raw power but.... :think

There just arent many huge punchers around at the mo

Not so much at 168 though the Taylor KO was pretty scary. At 160 though...

    Holt :deal

Marciano could dig but definitely falls into the heavy but accumulative bracket IMO.

He does have that natural physicality that just can't be trained I love the punch at 1:10ish where he is completely off balance not really thrown with any authority just drops him to the floor.

    Holt is a good shout.

No footage of young Rocky but Ive read he sparked sparring partners as well as the better known injuries he caused.

He didnt have the form or athleticism of other more recognised punchers but as always my personal bias blinds me from being objective. Would you also class Dempsey as an accumulator?

Has anyone mentioned Tyson yet? Or Liston?

The man is a freak!! He just smashes people to bits, some of those KOs are mental.

Heavy hands with very strong arms & a huge back. When he swings wide & lands people just go flying. That straight right he caught Taylor with still makes me wince.

Your point was; not many Asian fighters that get labelled 'top 50'. My question is, which nation has the more 'greats' (by common consensus) Asia or Africa?
