Vassily Jirov Ko'd his opponent in two rounds but was knocked down in the first. Does anyone see Jirov making a serious comeback or is this just another payday for the tiger? If this is a true attempt at coming back at cruiser, who do you see him beating and why?

He was actually dropped!? Hmm, can't say I'm too surprised. Never thought much of his whiskers. He's been hurt by a lot of very pedestrian opposition over the years.

Before the Moorer fight, the tiger was known for having a tremendous beard and a very fan-friendly fight style. He took a lot of punishment from Joe Mesi, just to floor the Buffalo native 2 times in the final round. I would like to see him fight Danny Green after the Jones fight. I think it could be a "fight of the year" candidate!!

What!? No he wasn't. Who the **** ever said that? You must not have caught a lot of Jirov's fighst before the Morer fight then because I saw him rocked by a lot of average opponents during his reign at cruiserweight. His chin ain't glass because he's only been dropped a few times, but it ain't rock hard either. He's never been hard to hurt.

How many times did he hit the canvas before the Toney fight? I have been a big fan of Jirov since becoming a pro...he is all heart and is everything we look for in a fighter. his ability to take shots and keep coming was awesome.
