I kinda hope he doesnt. I didnt see his last fight but he looked very bad in his two previous fights. I think the foray in to the heavyweight division took more out of him then he expected but for his career it was the right move at the time. He is in his mid-30s now, he should probably hang them up.
I read a James Toney interview a while back where he mentioned Jirov wanted to fight him again and he'd have no problem taking him up on his offer.
i remember watching the toney fight and i really like jirov i would love to see more of him i thought he did well in there with toney up till the last rd when he got kd something about him maybe it that he looks like a complete geek and goes in there and fights his ass off
The Toney-Jirov fight was a fight for the ages. I hope to see the Tiger one more time. It was a tragedy when they took the Heavyweight title from Toney after he beat Ruiz. I will tell you why it was tragedy. Toney said he was going to give Jirov a rematch as his first heavyweight defense as champion. Maybe if Toney can reclaim a heavyweight title soon, a rematch with Jirov could happen. Id pay to see it.
