Morales DEFINITELY won the 2nd fight IMO & has a fair argument for the other 2 as well & as you said has the slightly better record plus the Jones & Pac wins & never being KO`d or beat decisively in his prime.... he was also an ATG at 122 lbs, MAB was never 1 of the best ever in any weight.

Morales over Barrera for me, not a lot in it tho.

After JCC, Sanchez, Olivares and Saldivar you can rank them in pretty much any order without complaint.

We also saw JMM lose to Freddie Norwood and Chris John. We saw MAB get taken apart by Jr Jones. We saw Morales out-worked and out-classed by Guty Espadas Jr.

Lopez never fought anyone as good as a Junior Jones.

Losses don't mean as much as victories on the grand scale, not in my estimation, I look at who the fighters defeated and Lopez simply isn't comparable with the likes of Barrera and Morales in this regard.

    From the past 30 years.......

    JC Chavez

    Ricardo Lopez

    Juan Manuel Marquez

    Salvador Sanchez

    Erik Morales

    Marco Antonio Barrera

........and I'm not strictly rating them based on only resume, in fact I put more emphasis on my own opinion of their abilities.

......and check this out.....of the fighters I listed, for as offensive a machine that Julio Cesar Chavez was, he had by far imo the best defense of the bunch.
His ability to parry and roll with shots while in punching range was just phenominal.

:huh What you talkin about, Willis? JMM got robbed against Norwood, John, and Pacquiao. The only loss I saw was against Floyd. MAB did get taken apart by JJ the first time, but the rematch could of gone either ways. I do think Espadas did enough to beat Erik the first time or should got a draw at least, but Erik destroyed Espadas in the rematch, leaving no doubts.

Really? I remember in his best days as a LW Julio did alot of bob and weaving to get alot of pesky jabs off him, but I always thought Sanchez was the most defensive of the bunch. He neutralized Danny Lopez's right hand, could roll with the punches, and IMO had the best footwork of all the Mexican greats or anyone I've seen that isn't Ali. Only when Chava decided to not box and go toe to toe he would eat acouple of shots, that's where his iron chin came in to play.

He has a chance of solidifying a top 3 spot behnd JCC and Sal Sanchez if he can pull out a couple more wins against top tier opposition...only problem is he'll have to go above lightweight to do it since there's no one at lightweight that would enhance his legacy and over lightweight i doubt his effectiveness.
