Is Joe Calzaghe a legend Killer?

"I'm a legend killer - I just finished B-Hop, Roy Jones is next."

Easy to be a legend killer when his opponents practically qualify for Social Security.

You would have to say he'll have killed 2 legends in 2 fights. There is no other way round it.

Jones' legendary status was killed years ago

Joe is doing nothing more than throwing soil on the coffin

Even if its the equivelant of me taking an antique vase and shattering it against the wall? That should be about what Calzaghe - RJJR looks like..

Dont get me wrong, B-Hop isnt shot, thats why it was a close fight...

But RJJR is waaaaaaaay past it, and Im sure Joe could have found a better fight, hell, I'd rather him wait for a better fight than see him fight Roy Jones...Speaking of that, **** better not be PPV...

probably but too bad he was never a legend himself.

Exactly, as you say, Hopkins wasn't exactly shot. Old but not shot. And hence this adds most weight to his legend killer status.

Jones just props it up a little bit further.

It doesn't really count as being a legend killer if you have to dig former greats up from their graves in order to have a chance of beating them. Joe Calzaghe is not so much a legend killer as a corpse botherer.

Jermain Taylor must have killed the legend, then killed its resurrection.
