Joe scraped a split decision. It wasn't a win that convinced 3 judges to give him even a narrow UD, and now Hopkins has a bigger, more dangerous, more even, more exciting fight on his horizon than Joe does. If anything, Hopkins's performance enhanced his legend as he was able to perform with such defensive skill and show better punch-power at 43 years old than his opponent, when it was obvious he no longer had the stamina for 12 rounds.

    Calzaghe the Legend Improver!

When Joe beats RJJ, everyone will feel ill, because we will see a man who last performed effectively at world level FOUR years ago being beaten to a pulp in a one-sided sham that should never have been allowed to happen.

Calzaghe the Money-Grabbing Easy Option Taker!

Mikkel Kessler is 29 just now, his next fight is against a nobody, his career is going nowhere, he will never be an ATG, a legend, or a 'super legend'.

Calzaghe the Undisputed SMW Champion after only 11 years as champion in that Division!

The only legend here is the Legend Of The Man With The Rubbish Resume.

Guys, I'm thinking of this carefully, and I think Calzaghe's win against kessler was his most impressive by far. Kessler might possibly end his career with only the Calzaghe loss.

I'm also starting to think Kessler would beat Hopkins. Hopkins would have no answer to Kessler's jab. Kessler isn't a plodder, and he's a big guy, and he has a good chin and can bring it. How could Hopkins beat Kessler, I want to know? And I mean the Hopkins in his prime too. I think that is a style that isn't good for Hopkins, unless he landed a body shot that hurt Kessler, but that's it.

Instead of Calzaghe, sometimes, I think its Hopkins that should be overrated. Losing his first pro fight might be a signal to you guys.

At this rate he will. Who is he fighting next?

And of course Mikkel would beat Bhop now, but a prime Bhop has a field day with Mikkel aka Mr. Robotic

He is more of a Legend-finisher, he sweeps them under the table when they are lingering around too long.

Are you saying Joe has really faded after his fight with Kessler? Because Bhop did better against Joe than Kessler did. It was a much more one sided affair. The Kessler we saw in his come back fight didn't look stellar. Before that fight his opponent was compared to Gary Lockett. Afterwards every body said, Geez, he is MUCH better than we knew. :patsch Right now Kessler is Calzaghe's biggest win and he ain't helping Ole Joe on bit. :deal
