your logic for predicting the outcome is shocking if you actually watch and analyse the fight you'll see when bernard threw his combinations on the inside he was stronger and it offset calzaghes own attacks and he landed with good crisp shots...didnt see much of the calzaghe counterpunching you rave about to be honest a younger bernard would have had enough to sustain this longer and would have won clearer than i had him winning in the real thing

 

A lot more than Hopkins, and it would have been a lot more had Hopkins not been holding on like a scared little *****. It takes two to tango and Hopkins didn't want to dance. So we can't blame Joe for Hopkins not wanting to fight can we?:deal

 

Sure he is, he had to wait for these guys to get BEYOND shot to finally break his promise and fear of never traveling out of Wales. You honestly think this fight would be on even if Jones was 10% of what he once was?, the answer is no and the proof is out there when both were young.

Calzaghe is just trying to make his already ugly resume look better in the most pathetic, yet obvious, way.

Despite my disappointment in many of Joes choices of opponents, and recent comments, I have been a fan of his for a long time now. His "legend killer" comments are just very out of character for him. Leave that type of trash talk to the trash I say.
