I had Hopkins winning by 3 points. I've never argued about it, because it was a tough fight to score. When one guy doesn't throw a single effective punch, and the other throws 10 punches per round, it can go either way!

I don't class Lewis as a legend killer.

Calzaghe's had 15 plus years in the game, and eleven years with a title to get it on with Jones or Hopkins. Clinton Woods managed it. You cant blame Lewis because he took on all comers, it wasn't really his fault that there was no one around baring faded legends - and people chucking belts in the bin on TV.

It's a bit of a Calzaghe fanboy double standard that they are allowed to use the "pre-fight" consensus when it comes to rating Jeff Lacy, but not when it comes to rating Bernard Hopkins.

:| "wa wa Everybody said Lacy would stop him before the fight"

Sorry boys and girls, but everyone also said Calzaghe would brutalise the old man and stop him too.

So why can we use pre fight consensus for one fight, and NOT the other?

    A very big :think

    This one is quite simple.

He has fought 1 faded legend, and scraped a split points decision. That faded legend is now taking on a top 10 p4p fighter. Someone tell me how he is a legend killer if he has never killed a legend??

Calzaghe fanboys holding onto every word that Calzaghe said, who said it after the Hopkins fight when he and his father really thought he lost, as a way to somehow make it better.

Means little. I just assumed it so because I remember you sucking Amsterdams **** more than anyone else. I'm glad I ticked you off enough to go searching for it though... I've been gettin' to you lately, me thinks.

It means little except for the fact I actually picked a decision contrary to your false and wild accusations :yep

Wasn't the point. I commend you for getting you head out of Amsterdams ass and making your own pick.

Doesn't change the fact that the general consensus, largely by Calzaghe fanboys, was that Hopkins was an old man who was going to get brutalised.

This pre fight consensus is not allowed to be used (and is conveniently forgotten)... Yet the pre fight consensus on Lacy is...

Perhaps because it makes Joe look better... :think

If I made the same picks as Amsterdam we'd be level in the rankings, but infact they differ quite bit. It's endearing you have to make stuff up to try and get at me/wind me up... :yep

You can use whatever consensus you want, as long as it as actually based in reality rather than just a plain lie which you have a tendency for :good

I thought old Mary was a legend? That's what we hear on here

    Jones is next

    Kessler is a future legend

    Case Closed.

He didn't kill Hopkins. He scraped a split decision over him. Hopkins is now fighting a top 10 p4p guy- has he been killed? Is he dead?

RJJ is a legend on the basis of performances 1993-2003. It's 2008 mate.

Mikkel Kessler will NEVER EVER EVER be an ATG, never mind a legend.

Same as every day on here, you are talking a lot of biased old bollocks.

Joe "Old Man And Mediocre Opponent Beater" Calzaghe. Not got the same ring to it, but at least it's true.

You don't actually have to kill the legend to be deemed a legend killer. What are you, sick? I can't believe you take it so literally :tired

Joe killed his heart. We saw that when he feigned injury.

Roy Jones isn't performing like a legend, it only boosts Calzaghe's legend killing rating by a few percent I must admit

Kessler will be a Super Legend. Just be patient.
