Sorry you have just shown your lack of knowledge there. One of his one handed wins was vs a prime Robin Reid. Tocker Pudwill was KOed in 2 using both hands. Whether you think Kessler is special or not, if you think the guy doesnt have a first rate jab you must be blind. You say Hopkins took him to a SD which is of course true... but he had to claim fake low blows for a breather so he could last the distance. And lets face it, the SD was being very generous to Hopkins who did precisely **** all other than hug after round 3.
Believe it or not, Brewer Cal said the only guy who truly hurt him in a fight. He said Brewer hit him with a body shot that knocked the sutffing out of him. Not every fighter can face and a pfp H.O.F fighter in every time out. Ricardo Torres tested Cotto. Are you going to say, "Man, he got ktfo by Holt" so he wasn't that good. When you are down in a fight, that meaqns that the other guy was good enough to put you down. You can't put fighters down because you hate on them. It was a good comeback win after being down.
:rofl Not been following boxing long have you. The guy was a two time world champ and would have been a current champ had he not got robbed in Germany. He had never been stopped. Wins over guys like Frankie Liles and Manny Siaca never made it to your radar I guess.
Get rid of the hate and open your eyes. Who do you like, and who do you consider a master boxer? You seem to put down every fighter Cal has beaten. I suppose Robin Reid was a bum too huh?
And as far as Mitchell, yes, he could fight. He was up and down, but always competitive, and he was a world champion. You can put down any fighters comp with the way you are thinking...
yes he is, calzaghe has great talents and although his offensive pedigree is limited (although still good) his defence is totally underrated and imo one of the most elusive fighters in the game today if he had more of a killer instinct coming forward rather than his slapping style he wouldnt get such bad press
I thought he beat Hopkins through sheer workrate, which is his usual gameplan, against anyone. And not by being a counterpuncher, which was Old Hopkin's MO.
Yeah well if Floyd lost his speed, footwork and defence, what kind of boxer would he be? Cant quite justify what your saying there im afraid.
