Of course. This is a no-brainer. You'd have to be racist or ******ed not to admit that the guy is one of the very best of his generation.
No clown Tyson unifeid at age 21 and cleaned out the division, Calslappy hid behind the WBOGUS while other big fights were out there, and trying to claim that a 43 yr old is at his peak is lame as **** :-( I watched Bhops for the first time in 97 and he looked quite the same up until about 02 or 03. Hopkins was at his best when he beat Holmes and Tito. By the time he fought Allen for a 3rd time anyone could see he had declined quite a bit, just because he can still beat certin MWs who come to 170 doesn't mean he isn't way past it.
You are the only clown here mate, claiming joe was hiding is bs. Jones and Hopkins were too scared to fight him until they were old and had an excuse for losing!
He could have fought both a LONG time ago if he was serious about doing it, face it Slappy will never be considered an ATG outside of the UK.
No, hell never be considered an ATG in America because youll never admit that any Brtish boxer came over to America and beat two of your own ATG. You have a very bad habbit and thats people like you who cant take losing.
american and yes he is..however due to his level of competition for so many years he will never eclipse the top 50
Depending on your definition of an ATG, he definitely could be. He's ruled his division like no one else has and has won a handful of fights that he was expected to lose. The man has earned my respect and I'm willing to call him an ATG. I would however, like to see him fight one more fight. Whether it's against BHop or Bad Chad, another win would do his legacy wonders in the eyes of Americans - including myself.
You tried to compare 80s Tyson to this cherry picker, WTF was Slappy doing in Wales: beating bum after bum, he didn't step up until he fought a green Lacy in 05, the man was a nobody and considered a fraud for obvious reasons, now he goes and beats to old ass fighters who've already been beaten and clowns like you are ready to get on your knees....:rofl :rofl :rofl
I wish I could agree, sadly I cannot. Calzaghe absolutely did not win that fight. He landed virtually no scoring punches. I have no bias, I scored the fight for the man who won; Bernard Hopkins.
