I don't claim to be a boxing historian, hence I don't have a list. But I can tell from having a quick glance at your top 20, you don't know your history either.

Off the top of my head...

    Harry Greb
    Mickey Walker
    Benny Leonard,
    Jimmy McLarnin,
    Barney Ross,
    Tony Canzoneri,
    Tommy Loughran,
    Jimmy Wilde,
    Billy Conn,
    Ted "Kid" Lewis
    Carmen Basilio

would rate higher p4p all time than Calzaghe.

So since you don't know history, you're claiming someone else doesn't? You're making no sense.

****ing hell, look at how many fights Jones missed! Mayweather easily has the better legacy than Jones. Jones doesn't wipe the floor with Calzaghe, when did Jones face a fighter as good as prime Calzaghe? Never. Calzaghe would be an extremely hard and close fight for Jones at any time in his career, especially if it was a clean Roy Jones (post Richard Hall).

Also, he beat Hopkins clearly, the majority seem to agree, it's only massive Hopkins fans who claim Bernard won.

Don't get me wrong, I know quite a bit. But I don't know enough at this stage where I'd even entertain the thought of putting together a top 20 or something list.

Are you mad because I don't have enough Euro fighters on there? How about I throw Benn on there for you.

    Happy?

At 168, I'd have much less issue with "greatest" rather than "best". He certainly achieved more than any other supermiddle, but "best" implies that prime for prime he would have beaten every other supermiddle.

From his short career at 175, I don't see where he showed himself to be a H2H nightmare for the top lightheavies. Charles, Foster and Spinks to name a few would have been all wrong for him.

He's certainly the most accomplished at the weight, and I think he'd have a good chance against Roy Jones, he beats every other SMW for me.

I'm not making out that he'd beat some of the all time great LHW's, but for example, I think a 35 year old Calzage would be the LHW Champion today.

Doesn't really matter who they lost to. Most great black fighters have lost to a white guy somewhere along the line of their career.

How about I add a certain Ricky Hatton to that top 20 list, he beat a prime zoo who was like p4p biggest hitter in the whole world.

Who else sang songs louder than Ricky Hatton fans, who?
