I think he can beat any of them, but I think Johnson and Dawson would have the best shot.

    You must be ****in joking.
His current girlfriend is about 5 grades up the ladder compared to the ex-wife.
She was one horrible looking **** that one. If any of the Rugby players were knobbing that they should be ashamed. As should Joe.

    You definitely have a point.

Calzaghe is clearly a better undefeated fighter than Sven Ottke.

That said, I can't believe people describe Joe as "great".

It never ceases to amaze me how much an undefeated record inspires so much hate in people.
Calzaghe would probably get a lot more respect than he does if he had lost early on in his career and then gone on to be undefeated.
The 0 in his column really gets people angry.

I would have Calzaghe favourite to beat anyone on that list, he is certainly capable of it. Although obviously if he was to fight all of them im sure he wouldn't win every single fight, as i don't think anyone has shown that level of consistency against so many top fighters (everyone has off nights).

Its hard to say with Calzaghe though, Calzaghe of 2007 would beat any one of those fighters, Calzaghe of late 2008/ early 2009, who knows?

    - Dawson is too Green and just lacks the ring experience and smarts to beat a clever fighter like Joe
    - Tarver, well i just don't think he has it in him.
    - Johnson, i don't think he is capable of stopping Joe and definitely isn't capable of outpointing the high work rate awkward Calzaghe.
    - Roy Jones is shot and lacks the killer instinct to stop Joe
    - Bute is too green
    - Hopkins is only going downhill from here and can't deal with Joe's high workrate
    - Mikkel Kessler has all the tools to beat Calzaghe but i think he lacks the mental edge and Joe has his number for now (Kessler still has a few years to improve)
    - Pavlik has a decent shot, if he puts Joe on the canvas once or twice a points win looks entirely possible
