The way the question is worded, the answer is clearly all of them.

Can't believe that there is anyone who is voting really thinks that there is anyone on the list that Calzaghe has no chance of beating. Is there?

He's capable of beating all of them, whether he would in practice is debatable.

Maybe I just don't get it, but why would of all people, Calzaghe have more trouble with Pavlik than any of the others? I'd love to hear that in some detail. Personally, I don't see it.

Because some people believe Pavlik beats all. I don't think there's any more subtlety than that to it. Personally I think Hopkins is a big step up for Pavlik and the first half of that fight, at least, will be very instructive as to how good Pavlik is.

I think Joe is the best 168-175lb fighter at the moment and i would say he has beaten the number two best in Mikkel Kessler.

Calzaghe would start as a favourite against any of them. If that constitutes being the best LHW in the world, so be it.

Calzaghe COULD beat all of them, but stylistically, Tarver and Johnson are just all wrong for him, and I would expect either one to beat him (presuming Tarver doesn't have one of his off days, which seems to happen half his fights lately). I also think Dawson would be close to an even money fight.

After only one fight, I can't call him the best. He didn't build his legacy at light-heavyweight. It would be like calling RJJ the best Heavyweight in the World. Glen Jones would give him problems.

i voted on calzaghe could beat all these.

only one that i think is a close fight is Dawson but i think he is to green and JC would have him worked out early and take him on points.

The thing is, due to his age and career, Joe does not need a lot of those fights.

He does not need to fight Kessler again, as he won so convincinly the first time round (even though i would love to see a second)

Who wants to watch him fight B-Hop again?

Abraham and Bute are not in the same league.

While he is fighting RJJ in nov. (all be it a bit late)

So that leave's a list of Johnson, Tarver, Pavlik, Dawson.

Now if Joe went onto fight Tarver and Johnson, everyone will say he only fights 40 year olds. So, thats why i cannot see these fights happening as what credit is he going to get? However, if Tarver beats Dawson, then I think a fight should happen, and I would pick Joe to win, Tarver has not got the stamina to last 12 rounds. As for Johnson, I think this would be a good fight, however I think Joe would land way too much on him and win.

So that leave's Pavlik and Dawson.

I think a fight with Pavlik will happen if both fighters win there upcoming fights. There has been too much on this for it not too happen, everyone seems to have an opinion, the fighters, the trainers, the promoters etc. So when this fight does happen, I think Joe will win as I think it will be too early for Kelly, and Joe will be able to fight in a way that keeps him away for the bombs, and also Joe will insist that the fight is at 175, which would not suit Kelly at all.

While as for Dawson, to get a fight with Joe he will need to beat Tarver. But even if he does, why should Joe fight him? He is still a green fighter, he is not as popular or worth as much as Pavlik, he look so bad against Johnson. So I never seeing this happen, and even if it did then I think Joe would be just too clever for him.
