His punch output was something else..

He kept that strength until the very end of his career.

He fought tomato cans and cab drivers. The only reason he HAD TO hit them so many times, is because he had no power to hurt them.

    So, NO.

BHop and Sweet Pea were the opposite of volume punching. JCC Snr is a good call but we never seen JCC Snr produce this sort of volume punching:-

People really underrating Joe Calzaghe volume punching skills.

You said volume "puncher", so no. Volume cuffer, maybe. Joe was a volume puncher against Eubank, but rarely afterwards.

Joe had a phenonimal punch output, but he didn't have much power in his punches, especially after he fuked up his hands, though on the other hand, many of the stoppages on his record are comical

post 2008 Vitali is a much better example, huge punch output for a heavweight, with every punch meant to hurt, and getting the stoppages late

    What a load of bollocks!

Seriously, what was the purpose of that?

You can't do that in a fight.

One of the top few anyway, Calzaghe really was the best fighter Britain had for ages and believe me their wont be another British fighter as good in the next decade at least

You can throw lots of punches in a fight, but not like how he did in the video, stood straight on, only a few inches away, throwing the same two shots over and over.

    Joe was impressive.

    But the video isn't.

joe's output and stamina was excellent, but numbers are misleading when you fight so many sub-par opponents during your career (and only one proven world class fighter in his prime)

if joe had bothered to make his name in the US, his level of opponents would have been much healthier and numbers would have counted for something

he didn't and chose wealth over legacy
