3 world champions, including taking Liam Smith from drawing at English title level, and taking Crolla from fringe British Class to a deserved world champion. Takes some beating
Fair play to Joe. Seems to have a knack for getting the best out of fighters. Roll on the next World Champ in the camp.
Joe went ages without having a world champion and people taught he wasn't great His always been a very good trainer nut his fighters tend to fight the same and there is a certain style he teaches. Lack of head movement is probebly the biggest joe Gallagher trained hallmark
Billy Nelson said he was rubbish once upon a time. Billy doesn't even have a British title level fighter.
Very good trainer, tough to say the best as that is quite the statement, however I remember many guys here criticising him for not having a world champion, well that's all changed now but I bet their opinion doesn't. I have to say what he has done with Crolla is incredible, hats off to them both.
To be fair a lot of his guys he trained before probebly have better victories than the ones quigg, crolla and smith had to win there belts
I just think winning breed winning. When your mates are coming back to the gym with a world title it spurs you on. Not to mention the sparring options. I think for whatever line of work you are in, if you are as dedicated as Joe is, you succeed. When I go to bed I make love to my missus, when Joe Gallagher goes to bed he watches future opponents of his fighters and look for weaknesses
To be fair to Billy the Jocks don't produce great Sportsmen on a regular basis. Heard on here that a guy known as 'The Shark' will go far but Billy thinks not.
