In his interviews, he seems to know what he's talking about he's pretty intelligent and has a good idea of the sweet science.
Very good post :good If you look at Crolla when Arnie trained him he would move his head on the way in and had good foot work now its **** it Im not bothered if you smash my face, Joe says that's my tactics and that's the way I coach ****in get on with it :verysad
Ain't Crolla the lad Arnie rang Joe asking about how he's doing and seeing if he's ok and Joe replied 'none of your business'.
All I know is that a great fight got ruined and lost a great conclusion. Derry was like steel that night! Crolla will come back. Rematch please!
Anthony Crolla comes across as a real good guy i didn't like to see him lose but Sky had talked him up like a future world champ...Joe Gallagher was goin around saying Anthony Crolla is world level. The guy is 25 and has 3 losses...including one to Gary Sykes and now to Derry Matthews a guy who after 10 years as a pro is only winning his first British title. Let's be honest about it...Crolla has found his level. He's British domestic level and can't see him even going to euro level now
Could not agree more with Arnie's final statement about others finally working out the Gallagher style of fighting. Before Murray was decimated by Mitchell it looked as if the Gallagher style of fighting was going to rule supreme at domestic level for the unforseable future. Gallaghers fighters simply didnt lose at domestic level although it never looked like something that would translate to world level boxing. Now even at domestic level his fighters are getting found out one by one, i just hope Scott Quigg jumps ship before he becomes another face first Margarito clone. However maybe im giving a bit too much credit towards Gallagher because although Margo is limited he does attempt to protect his face at times, Gallagher fighters seem to just boar forward until the opponent falls down or they fall down themselves.
