I'd put Byrd ahead of him, but he's second. Sadly.

Not even close, under almost any standard. Even if you're just talking heavyweights, and you consider his "cheating" wins to be losses, he's still better than Michael Bentt, Herbie Hide and a bunch of the fat cokeheads from the '80's. And if you're looking at other weight classes as well, he doesn't even hold a candle to guys like Maselino Masoe, Gavin Rees, Luis Santana (who ACTUALLY won the title only by cheating), Eric Aiken and my new favorite, Likar Ramos.

Excessive holding is against the rules of boxing. That's cheating. Oh, and Ruiz pulled the same sort of **** Santana did too.

Even the worst beltholders of the 80s, guys like Tubbs or Smith, were FAR more talented than Ruiz. And they won their belts legitimately!

Your not going to make a dent on how Zakman feels about Ruiz being the worst fighter in history. Even if by some chance he KO's Haye, he'll probably say he was drugged by Don King. He is not the worst and Zakman has his opinion.

With the number of shots per round Ruiz would not only embarrass Briggs but also enforced an asthma attack on him around 6th round.

Well, I also have the Queensbury rules, which say excessive holding is a no-no.:nono:D

    Please note rule #2:
