just read his article on the majority of britain being racist and am abit offended. cud some1 please upload 1 racist article towards amir khan or even 1 where he has been the victem of racist abuse other than the odd idiot shouting something in the crowd. ive never heard 'going to see the paki's for bread and milk' before
there has been some comments, however I was at one fight when there nutters on both sides. I don't hate Khan, never have, but for purely boxing reasons, if he ducks Maidana then he is going to get a lot of abuse.
if you have ever been to an Amir Khan fight you would see racism being directed in mass by white and asian fans. i could upload videos of chelsea fans singing sings about gassing spurs fans. i could direct you to a facebook page for. i could also direct you to threads on this forum that have extremly racist adn homophobic messages. nothing gets done about it but if we post a stream for a fight thats not being shown in this country you get a ban. your obviously not going to find a racist article because whoever rights it will get sacked. but i would tend to agree most people in the country are at least slightly racist.
The article is really OTT. Yes there are some racist muppets but the writer makes it sound as if modern day Britain is full of white supremacists who look down on Asians and regard them as inferior citizens. http://www.eastsideboxing.com/news.php?p=22523&more=1
his dad rejects the bigotry claims, this is from December 09 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/boxing/8396760.stm
You'll always get that minority of racist pricks on all sides, but their a MINORITY. The majority don't get heard as often as that doesn't sell headlines.
The author refers to himself as a fellow Brit and proceeds to literally bow his head and get down on bended knee to Americans by making the outlandlsh claim that the boxing public in the US is more knowledgable than their British counterparts. On what basis does he make this ridiculous claim? Moreover, he infers that in by moving to the US - Khan will be free from the sweeping Islamophobia in the UK. Granted there are plenty of racists and Islamophobics in the UK but painting a picture that in the US he will be getting away from that is utter bull****. How about the author flick on Fox news for a few hours and tune into that far right rhetoric. Final point, did the author not hear Khan's reasons for moving to the US - he largely said it was because he wanted to be a big star in the US and the lure of Goldenboy etc. He didn't say it was 'largely' due to getting away from racist Britian.
been to 3 khan fights. the only 1 i saw racism at was the st claire fight and that was from asians. my mate got jumped by bout 10 of them and he got kicked out
