I know where your coming from, but you have to wait and see thats why most fighters dont make ATG rankings until after they retire in other sports at least. Plenty of fighters stylistically should not have lost to opponents but still they did loose. This is why we watch the fights. it happens all the time with judo guys, they simply neglect to use the skills that they have. Damn I hate watching judo guys fight ****in Omigawa he attempted one ****in takedown!!! **** that ****!

He hasn't even won the title and winning the title ain't enough. You have to defend it like silva -gsp and liddell did to be considered ATG.

I LIKE UFC aggressive match making. Strong call by matchmaker but it's a Win-Win as far as I'm concerned. Considering Shoguns legacy, putting stock in a future great Jon Jones could be very smart and Jones having Shogun would be the real start to a massive career. Very good match making.

Bones Jones certainly has the potential to be an all time great - but hell - he could crack out in a month's time like the 1984 Olympic boxing team and never win another fight. It's too early in his career to consider even discussing his name amongst the ATGs. That said - if he can beat Shogun which I think he will - and then CLEAN OUT the division - then hell yes. The kid is the best eva!
Its a good question people are going crazy over Jones' one sided domination over Bader. Didn't see nearly as much dick riding from Aldo's one sided domination over Faber.
Well lets see how Jones does against the 1 top fighter he's faced first is it. Lets see how he deals with Shogun countering Jones jab with leg and body kicks. Let's see how Jones does when he goes for the clinch, instead of politely going for underhooks in an attempt not to get taken down, Shogun starts raining knees to his midsection. Let's see how he deals with an agressive striker who wont let him dictate the pace like Bonnar did and actually goes on the offensive and forces him on the back foot and counters his relatively weak strikes. Lets see how he deals with a fighter who wont let him rain elbows too his face whilst on the bottom, who will be looking for the first opportunity to break a limb. In short, lets be realistic
