Is Jones going to end his career, Face down in Moscow?

Why Roy? WHY?

 

Even if Roy wins.............so what? Nobody rates Lebedev that highly anyway. Who would care?

 

He has enough skills left to do a Lacy on him. My only concern is, this fight is in Russia.

Didn't Roy learn his lesson in Korea? in Australia? The worst place he could choose to fight this Lebedev chump is in Russia. Even if he wins he loses.

So I'm skeptical about this fight being a good decision on Jones part. He must be desperate for a fight, but the only way he can win this fight is by knock out and he's at a weight class where he might not have enough power to do it.

This could be his retirement fight, but I'd rather he have made the fight in America and then I'd be more confident about him winning.

 

He retires after this fight. Another brutal KO, there is no choice but to be shown the door. And everyone will be calling for his head to retire this time.

I never had Roy Jones down as a dumb guy. But the way he's finishing his career...........man, it makes no sense to me.

Rematching Hopkins was dumb.

But fighting Lebedev is lunacy.

 

Uh, a lot of people think highly of him and rate him highly. I assume he's a future champion, personally. Many feel he should be a current champion... Also, Ring rates him 4th best CW in the world...So, what are you talking about nobody rates him that highly?

 

Russian Mob is paying Jones very well. He will fall and make the easy mob money.

 

to fight in Moscow he must be in serious trouble, i dont see another reason.He could get some fights here in america,fighting old glories like Jirov or some other.But fighting a huge hot prospect like Lebedev in his backyard is little less than suicide.

 

Roy isnt gonna get KOd imo. I just cant understand why he doesnt have a confidence booster fight first. Hes coming off 2 losses and could have used a fight against a body in P-cola first.
