Is Jose "MANTEQUILLA" Napoles the best nickname in boxing?

    Yes, this one is for the best nicknames.

    My personal favourite is 'Mantequilla', the nickname for Jose Napoles, which means 'butter', as in smooth as.

    I don't know if this name actually suited Napoles, as I think those he beat would say he was more brutal than butter, but it's a beautiful word and about as cool a definition of 'smooth' as you can get.

    However, there are many many brilliant monickers out there. As I said in the other thread, I love Ezzard "the Cincinnati Cobra" Charles and many others as well.

    I like Mantequilla. I also like Dynamita, which is dynamite but sounds alot better in spanish.

    I like the Old Mongoose, The Michigan Assassin, Human Windmill, Barbados Demon, Manassa Mauler, El Radar and Bonecrusher. All are great.

    No, the best nickname in boxing is PacMan. Since no one knows how to spell his real name they named him after a video game which was named after a pizza.

    (And yes I am a Pac fan.)

    Manny Pacman Pacquiao is a very good nickname. combine that with his style and its a great nickname

    No-one was interested in this on the other thread when you said it was the worst name, no-one is interested in it now that you say it is the best.

    It's spelled P - A - C - Q - U - I - A - O by the way. Not really that hard.
