So off the back foot where we’ve got Norton against Del Boy you’ve got… Shot Quarry, Foreman, Shavers and Cooney… yikes, feel bad for Norton if he’d fought DC.

 

His chin was more than enough to withstand everything Ali and Holmes threw at him. His chin was actually decent and could only be cracked by massive punchers in his prime, which Chisora is not. Chisora couldn't stop Whyte for christ's sakes. Norton outboxes and stops Chisora.

Ali was floored by 185 lb Cooper and yet took clean shots of a hard hitting 215 lb Shavers and never went down.

David Haye was stopped by Carl Thompson, a cruiserweight who was 40 lbs lighter than Chisora. Using that logic, Chisora should have stopped Haye and cracked his chin but that didn't happen.

I am not reaching at all. The fact that you continue to repeat the same claim over and over again and claim that Norton is a B level guy or Frazier would fight at 175 lbs today shows a lack of boxing knowledge.

 

Buddy Norton was stopped outright by a 188lbs fighter why are you fighting that? His chin wasn’t good for his size… Ali was dropped and hurt by a shot he didn’t see, it’s not an issue, he wasn’t stopped though but it does show yes Ali can be hurt by a guy that size yes, that’s how smaller guys TYPICALLY hurt big guys it’s with shots they don’t see coming... Your chin doesn’t get better YOUR EYES DO your awareness, that’s why Ali became seemingly more durable same story with Foreman. “Lack of boxing knowledge” according to who? Forum nerds like us? A young Chisora might be able to run an old Norton close, like Tex Cobb did. But prime for prime, Norton would beat him one-sidedly.

 

Young lost 1/3 of the time he got in the ring and beat the F out GF… styles make fights sir.
