I think if he had beaten Teofimo Lopez hed for sure get in but is he a HOF ?

Let's say he moves up to 147 and never wins a world title.

Does he make the Hall Of Fame

In reality, I mean I don’t want to step on the guy, ofcourse he is a very good fighter.

But nowadays every fighter that wins a belt is in the HOF conversation. I don’t think that’s how it works.

Him being undisputed would normally be enough as that's usually so rare.

But we seem to be in an era where the organisation are more agreeable to it hence why we've had so many undisputed champions of late.

His resume in reality is thin as 140 is so weak. I don't think he's guaranteed to gain entry based off current accomplishments.

If this is it for him, no.

Usually, you can't just be a 140-pound champ and get in the Hall of Fame. In the modern category, I think Nicolino Locche, Antonio Cervantes, Aaron Pryor and Kostya Tszyu are the only fighters who were just 140-pound champs and got in. I could be wrong, though.

Most of the others won titles in multiple divisions.

It'll be interesting to see how he does at welter. But it doesn't look good.

The Prograis decision was fair but Catterall definitely beat him

I thought the Prograis fight was very close, but even giving Taylor the win he didn't separate himself. He has never stopped a champion. Teofimo looked great against him after three uninspiring performances.

He definitely needs to do a lot more to reach the HoF level, more wins like he had against Jose Ramirez when he was clearly on a different level.
