No problem. Yes I bet most had no idea he turned pro across the pond and had already fought over there x 3 before his last fight. Me too
As someone whose spouse is Scottish, the answer is no - the average person in Scotland doesn't know JT. If he fought in Scotland next he'd still get a huger crowd - assuming a reasonable media promotion the Scots will be only too willing to show up and support him.
The fact no domestic broadcaster in his country picked up the unification fight against Ramirez is telling about he is not as well known as he should be domestically. He deserved better than that. I suspect he may even be slightly better known in the USA.
What ethnicity? Scottish? like Andy Murray in Tennis? He must be pround! Scottish are brave warrior for me.It's not like he's the first Scottish in boxing? And he's is a very good one fighter,in only 18 fight...like WTF i want to see more of him! Im a customer of him, sell it to me? no?
People say he’s boring not likeable etc none of that is true. He simply has been promoted very poorly. Top rank have done a good job guiding his career but they have no presence in Britain. He’s much better off now jumping ship to match room.
It seems everything's been done to keep him unknown. How did not a single channel broadcast a historical unification fight?
