Is Josh Taylor the Joe Calzaghe of this era?

Taylor is awesome but I don't think his career will stack up to or even come within fair distance of equalling Calzaghe legacy.

 

maybe but we have to wait and see.

lets see if he can beat 2 meaningful opponents and then see what he does from there.

 

I hope not. Otherwise we won't hear about him till 2040. That's when he will finally pop out of the shadows to fight someone with 20 fights on his record while he has over 40 and celebrate the win with tears of disbelief as he rolls on the canvas. Then he will follow that up with 3 fights and retire an ATG in his neighborhood.

The sport certainly doesn't need someone like that again.
