Real deal... But no way in hell is he ready for Crawford yet.. Would like see him have 2-3 more fights(at least) at British-European level before making the leap to the world stage. Remember he only has 10 fights.. A fight with Burns would be a good step up, a good sell and likely not too much of a step up at this point.

He's in the ideal division cause once Crawford moves up in weight all the belts will be available, he should be able to pick up one pretty quick after that.

Yeah this was a fight with two talented and undefeated high level prospects... Public opinion was divided almost down the middle, of course some people are going to start saying that wasn't the case. But yeah... Great fight for British boxing and to some extent boxing as a whole. Top prospect vs. top prospect fights are a real treat these days.

Its called keeping it real. Taylor will challenge for world titles. Davies won't imo.

I bet you picked OD to win lol.

If Ricky Burns can hold a title in that division, Davies can. Anybody can get a belt these days. Especially if you're British.

Yeah, Davies looked slow, stiff and one-dimensional. Lonsdale belt is about the best he can hope for. Taylor looked good, but sloooooowww down on the Crawford stuff. He was able to dial it up in an an emotional fight in England against an Englishman he didn't like. What's he going to be able to do in Madison Square Garden on the undercard?
