ill put it this way, if he fought with some evil intentions he'd be a scary guy to fight. because when he decides to throw, the guy is a sniper and damn near lands at will. he just gives away too many fights he shouldve won.

I agree except I had it a draw with Cotto.

Oh good grief... If it isn't the funniest guy on the boards... The Pac**** with the ***** avatar...

If you weren't such an assuming dumb ****, you would be amusing. You assume that I wouldn't give Pac credit? .Obviously you have read my posts before, so maybe you should have read them all before you open your damn mouth about what I'm going to say.

And you assume I'm emotional? I am no more emotional than any Pac fan or Cotto fan who picks their fighter with some bull**** ESB wisdom like "Cotto's gonna win with a body shot" or "Pac will win because Clottey gives away every big fight he's in" type ****.

You will be one of the many to find out the hard way that Joshua Clottey ain't no ****in joke. I'm not picking "against Pac" so much as I am picking "for CLottey" And you assume that I am picking and rooting for Clottey only out of some hatred for Pac. You're the ass, not me. There ain't but one other fighter out there who I would root for over him, and that's PW.

very underrated but that can be based on him not throwing enough punches

Clottey is definitely top 5 in the welterweight division today. In fact, I favor him over Andre Berto and Luis Collazo. Clottey might even be a favorite over Shane Mosely and Floyd Mayweather due to a style mismatch. Does anyone see Mosely vs. Clottey, or FMJ vs. Clottey looking similar to Judah vs. Clottey? Does Mosely and FMJ have the right tools to beat Clottey?

yeah he is underrated. People will call him a b class fighter but call Cotto elite A level fighter.... which doesnt make much sense no matter who you had winning that fight because as it was so close I dont see how you can believe cotto is that much better than him

Depends on who you ask. Plenty give him credit. I always have, I think he beat up Cotto and was fresher at the end than Cotto. MAYBE Cotto did win on rounds, but I feel he took more punishment.

This is exactly what I am talking about. It makes no sense. Cotto is elite, clottey is not. But their fight was 50/50. :huh

I expect his fight with Pac to be much closer than Cotto's. I dont see him getting stopped at all or likely even dropped. I wonder if people will still rate him after Cotto a week from now when he performs better than Cotto did against Pac and in my opinion he edged the fight with Cotto last summer.

Maybe in the past Cotto had bigger wins but today I have to put him ahead of Cotto in the division and maybe in a week more people will be doing so too.

    Good point...

I fully expect him to be a much tougher fight than Cotto, but I think he will still never get the credit for being as tough as he is.

The dude hasn't had a KO since 2004, but I am pulling for him. I think he is better than a lot of people give him credit for. He could have and should have beaten Cotto, and with that victory I think that a lot of perspectives would change.

    WAR CLOTTEY!
