Look at what Ruiz achieved before n after Joshua. Should’ve had him on the ambrosia custard adverts

There will be a stoppage and I have it down as a 50/50 fight.

Big DDD, who regularly took the knee, has found a way to overcome adversity with hard fights against Miller and Hrgovic.

Both have form for not wanting any of it when the going gets tough and it is more a battle of the hearts for me.

    100%.
I'm slightly leaning towards Dubois, I'm liking the new him lately, he seems to have found something within himself and is looking good in doing so, I have a gut feeling that he is going to spark AJ cold.

Excuses, excuses. Just like Fury who encountered unmotivated Wlad going through troubles with his wife who had baby blues.Cards lined right up.

There were only 2 world heavyweight champions in this era. Fury and Usyk. All of the rest were just title holders. Joshua came the closest to being the champion after unyfing 3 belts and being consensus number 1 HW in the world in early 2018. And don't forget, in the 90's, the second strongest era of heavyweights the likes of Bruce Seldon, Frank Bruno and Francois Botha held some of the alphabet belts. If we add the WBO trinket to it we also have the likes of Michael Bentt, Herbie Hide and Henry Akinwande. All below elite leve, with some claims to the title.

At the end of the day, you need to prove yourself against the best in your times. AJ fought the most of the top guys from this era's crop.

So saying Dubois is far worse boxer than AJ is now being a fanboy? I hope you bet your house on DDD then, lol.

Not for me, if miller could land that right hand at will against ddd then so will AJ. This is gonna be Ngauno replay imo. Early big ko win for AJ

It has the potential for it to go the way you see it, it's an intriguing match up though and it wouldn't surprise me if it finished like you say for either fighter.

Only way I see ddd getting anything is if AJ is careless, if he stays at that range waiting for ddd to step in it should be easy work for AJ imo. Just think DDD is a perfect match up for AJ

Interesting fight. Agree, AJ SHOULD flatten him, but I'd suggest if he trys to make a statement and goes full on search and destroy, this will benefit big Dan...who MAY have got in AJ head? AJ would be crazy to get in a gunfight with a gunslinger. Dubois has huge power and if it ends up a gunfight it's a coin flip. I'd suggest AJ uses his jab, but aggressively, busts Dubois up, disheartens him and likely stops him after half way. I don't think either have great engines but the prospect of an AJ who has tried, and failed to take Dubois out going into the second half of the fight with doubts in his head is intriguing.

Conversely, I think Dubois only chance, and it IS a chance is to go full seek and destroy, caution to the wind and draw AJ into a brawl. Either man can flatten the other. I think it's a closer fight than many think. ( would AJ have confidently busted up Hrgovic or went for the finish against Miller the way Dubois did?)

....But I aso think AJ is now too crafty to be pulled into a brawl. I'd not be surprised by an early stoppage either way, but AJ must be a big favourite isn't he?

This is where I think Dubois is in trouble. AJ isn't that easy to hit and won't get dragged into a firefight. He will tuck up, use his legs to get out of range and walk Dubois onto shots.

I just don't see how Dubois can fix what we saw v Hrgovic. His so open to right hands and I see him getting excited looking to take AJ out and his gonna walk right into a big right hand and it will be goodnight.

I picked Miller to beat Ruiz last week and I honestly think Joshua is just as chinny and just as hittable as Dubois. I think Dubois has been in the tougher fights lately and I just have a feel that battle sharpness is going to see him over the line.

Like I said both awesome finishers and to some extent glass cannons so interesting fight.

Dubois has undoubtedly his heart against Miller and Hrgovic but I do struggle to side with a fighter whose taken a knee on every single knockdown of his short career.. I also think Ben Davison and Lee Wiley will have a better game plan than Don Charles (who I rate). For me, AJ will catch and stop an over aggressive Dubois pretty early.

There's a huge part of me which gives Dubois a big chance here as he's got power and will come out all guns blazing. Plus we all know Joshua doesn't like getting hit or being under pressure.

However you could argue the same is true of Dubois who has shown questionable heart himself. And I can't help but remember how many flush right hands he took in the early rounds against Hrgovic and he can't afford to do that against someone who puts his punches together as well as Joshua does.

It'a a cracking matchup I think and should be exciting while it lasts. I'll be rooting for Dubois but think Joshua is rightly the favourite.
