Dubois is a live dog in this owing to his power. But if he lets AJ connect as much as Hrgovic was doing in the first half of their fight, Dubois’ new found heart won’t be enough.
Dubois v Joshua is the 'Who takes The Knee First' non elite contest. Both have form for choking when the going gets tough.
Can see a nice KO coming in this fight but unsure who is going to end up like George Groves at Wembley Stadium.
Not like you to be sitting on the fence Beale? I mean it’s got to be one of two for the win hasn’t it? Teehee .
I have no confidence in either man at the top level but this should be a good fight while it lasts. Remember there could be a draw, points decision either way or a disqualification which I am ruling out. Rooting for Big DDD on the night.
You have to remember that Joshua gave up against Ruiz who hadn't done anything before nor since. The Joshua win has left him incredibly overrated. I don't think Dubois would've ever given up against a guy like that.
If DDD lands big, Joshua's frailties will come to the surface again. His punch resistance is poor, his stamina is poor, has the heart of an ant, is mentally weak and chokes when the going gets tough. The problem with this fight is Daniel 'Take The Knee' Dubois suffers from similar issues. Very interesting fight to see who folds first.
You just reminded me of that kneeling nonsense. Are athletes still doing that? Let's hope Dubois doesn't get the urge when he's hit. People talked up Hrgovic as a huge puncher but it didn't look like it.
The knee still happens in football, usually at the start of the season and during show racism the red card week. DDD has been showing more heart since his Usyk quit job and came through difficult spells against Miller and Hrgovic.
Wouldn't be surprised if 258 put in a contract stipulation like "no parents at ringside", since DDD seems to go up a gear with his dad in his ear. (And they said Ali was a poet!)
