I think Wilder's side are trying to have their cake and eat it. They want more money for the fight, expecting Joshua's side to cough up, but when they get told no they fail to come up with any kind of counter offer. They can't because Wilder doesn't generate enough money for them to do that.

It's crazy people accuse Joshua of ducking when his last fight was 10 days ago just because he hasn't signed another one yet!

Exactly, there has been no offer from Wilders team to duck.... If they are so determined to fight then why havent they proposed anything to Hearn?

I think Hearn and AJ want this to boil a bit more so they can get the most money out of it.

AJ ain’t scared of nobody, he’s just being a smart businessman and why not? It’s not as if the American market is full of heavyweight champions lined up to fight AJ

It would be a stupid move to cash out right now

Seems like Wilder is using AJ’s name to raise his own profile and make some more dough fighting bums...

Off topic a little but although I don’t think Wilder is a good boxer, I think he causes the robotic AJ a lot of problems. He’s lighter and has better lateral movement for me and hits just as hard.

If Wilder turns down any more than 20% it's a duck, he's been begging for the fight despite not making an offer so Deontay "welfare" Wilder should take what he's worth.

Not ducking no. Putting it off yes.

Simply putting it off until the summer for Wembley. It’s so obvious. That’s clearly where the most money is for all parties too. So wilder go and fight Whyte while Josh destroys Parker and we will see you both in June / July.

Speaks so much sense on this Wilder fight.

From the Hearn standpoint it is simple; he wants to maximise the money he makes from the scenario. Joshua-Wilder is the obvious fight to make as they have just fought within a week of each other and there are no obvious contenders. However, Hearn wants a stadium fight in Summer and thats where Wilder come in. If Wilder-Whyte is made he can bang in two quick PPV's within a month, that fight and Joshua v opponent. Then Wilder-Joshua at Wembley. No doubt Hearn wants Joshua to win but he will be under no illusions that Joshua will either be beat or out under his own banner in a few years. I wouldn't necessarily say he is trying to protect him.

Unfortunately for Eddie, he has actually been caught out. The way which Wilder called out Joshua after the fight coupled with the tedious nature of the Helanius fight means there is no appetite for his favoured method. Wilder to his credit seems to want the fight but obviously also wants the pay day. I can't comment on splits, but given that Wilder will have to give up home advantage and he is still a champion then only fair he doesn't get ripped off.

Hearn is a disgrace for me. But fair play he can package a situation up in such a way he fools alot of people.

I think wilder hits harder, he is defo quicker, and better stamina however can be outboxed easily, Wilder has one way to win against AJ, one big shot. If AJ gets inside however it's game over!. Wilder is more than capable of KO'ing AJ.

I just have this sneaky feeling Wilder will KO Joshua.I can Imagine AJ getting tired or suddenly being catched by Wilder's Right Hook.I just cannot not see Wilder being dumped on the Canvas which i badly want to see,i just cant but i can Joshua.Joshua will certainly have to fight close with Wilder as he had long hands and it's the long reach where he gets the power from so AJ should stay in the inside.I want to see how Wilder responds to a Body Attack,AJ is Shorter al that's a chance their and use the Lethal Uppercut Femi Has.Wlad didnt deserve that Uppercut,Wilder 100% does. That would be the dream to all the Brits, Wilder's big head being snapped back struggling to get back up.Then that is the end of Deontay Leshun Wilder, but i just cant see or Imagine it,it's almost too good to be true.

Why when you can wait a extra 8-12 months and make 5 times as more money.
