The golden egg AJ is being wrapped in cotton wool so Eggie can make at least one last big payday out of him. You do that by fighting 12 months after such a humiliating loss, where you can argue fundamental changes have happened and it’s a new AJ out there.

Everyone on the inside of the yoke knows he is a mentally decrepit shot mess. But he is still a name, a name that can command a decent pay day for his whole bloated entourage including Eggie.

Even a Wilder fight would command decent money, and both are completely shot to smithereens.

Yep and I actually think that Wlad blew it he had AJ finished and should have gone for the kill.

I have heard that after a big knockout it can take 12 months to fully recover, otherwise the fighter can easily get knocked out again. So that’s what they might be doing.

He just got drilled into the canvas. It’s probably about trying to fix his mental state, so he can walk into a ring with some confidence.

personally, I’d have thought the way to do it would be some tomato cans. Have him headline a couple random free DAZN fight nights against journeymen with losing records, just so he can blast them out quick and build back up some confidence. Don’t even do them at huge stadiums, let it be a mid-sized venue, he’d pack the entire thing without issue.

The problem with that is every Journeyman will be super motivated, because what if they can catch Joshua on one of his off nights? It’s a golden opportunity to fight themselves into the spotlight.

AJ hasn’t shown any confidence since the fat mexican plastered him all over the canvas in his one and only fight in the USA.

Not only will we not see that youthful confidence ever return we won’t ever see him fight in the USA again after that.

4 out of 5 times yes. But that fifth time Joshua will be knocked all over the ring.

Nah, remember the Fury's? How long did they keep that under wraps?
Fury could even fight for the title 7 months after getting busted on nadrolone in the eliminator, score a huge upset and then dodge the rematch with an "injury", while he was actually suspended when he should have been suspended immidiately.
It's only far later we heard he wasn't out for mental issues but serving a ban that they placed after winning the title.
They aren't above bending every rule in the book there in the UK either. They're no better as the US, China and Russia.

Not saying this is the case here with Joshua, but I wouldn't be surprised the least if that turned out to be the case.

We all know what’s happening,Hearn is sitting plotting his next strategy and a big part of that involves Usyk retiring ! Hearn is simply sitting things out waiting to see how things fall into place before signing Joshua up for any fights, the path of least resistance is the way of Hearn and Joshua .

It did, but that was when he already had the full benefit of it.
He could still fight for the title and even if he didn't use after could still have some physical benefits. He won the fight and still got to keep the win even from the eliminator fight he got busted in, which was overturned and then suddenly not... corruption at its finest.
Then got the time and opportunity to keep muddying the waters for the fans with his mental issues retirement, while in reality being banned for juicing.
Then in his comeback he got promoted as the "lineal champion that never lost his belt in the ring" instead of the guy that got busted juicing.

Fury bought a bottle of Deca from a local Gypsy, while Aj likely has a team of sports scientists

One will be much more knowledgeable and less likely to be caught
