Ngannou didn't do better than Wilder, as Wilder technically has a title defense against Fury while Ngannou lost an SD. Wilder has also scored more knockdowns against Fury than any other opponent out there.

While we can debate the legitimacy of these, it's the official results that stand.

Fury didn’t give a care about the third Wilder fight or the Ngannou fight and it showed.

Fury fights to the level of his competition for better or worse, as evidenced by lackluster performances against Wilder 3 and Ngannou followed by a very good showing against Usyk, the best the division has to offer.

Gotta agree there. His team doesn't help either. Needs Peter back.

Let’s be real here Joshua v Wilder was never about the belts, it was about power v power, and nothing else. But Joshua would have folded wilder in half, wilder had a looping overhand/hook but he was massively flawed, Joshua has power and would have got to him easy. Wilder was beaten anytime he fought anyone who wasn’t a bum, it had a shelf life and unfortunately that has now passed

AJ V Parker in 2018 did a record 1.9 million PPV buys in the UK. There was a different type of hype in boxing at the time, to be fair to AJ he is incredibly marketable.

1.9 million UK buys still has not been matched, or beaten.

Had AJ fought Wilder soon enough after Parker, I have no doubt that AJ V Wilder would have done at least 2 million PPV buys. This fight was for the undisputed title between two prime dangerous undefeated fighters, and a guaranteed knockout from either fighter so whoever bought it knew they were in for a treat.

I wish we saw that fight.

Someone who always relies on getting that one punch is never going to go far among the best. That's why he made sure not to face them much. When he started to...

It's hard to say it's bigger. All we know is we basically have the two best fighters in the world clashing.
Joshua arguably beat Usyk, at least one judge thought so.
Dubois arguably beat Usyk by KO.
    Usyk beat Fury.
So do the maff on dat.

It's a bigger fight now but it's not bigger than Wilder vs Joshua would have been if Wilder hadn't fallen off and lost a few. I think all of that's obvious.
