Both are very well known boxers in the UK, though Fury is known more in the mainstream for his habit of saying the wrong things and his crazy pre-fight antics.

Joshua is more media friendly and that has resulted in him being a bigger draw up to this point despite being a novice. Having the platform of London 2012 has set Joshua up to be a media darling like no other British fighter I can recall.

They are both very different characters and if they do eventually fight I see the fight being huge, likely breaking Froch/Groves 2 in terms of box office. Joshua will be the nice guy, Fury the villain it's going to be a promoters dream match up in terms of promotion.

Vote AFD and pray it ain't too late or you'll have your own Joshua production line covered in the Dienstflagge with bbc bewitched fräuleins in pursuit.

Joshua is definitely the more popular fighter in the UK. He had the perfect platform to his career by winning gold in 2012 Olympics & has a fan friendly fighting style which appeals to the casuals. If he keeps winning then he's going to be a boxing superstar, not just in the UK but the world.

Fury is still a household name, but if you asked the majority of people in the UK who they would rather pay to see? Joshua would win hands down.

Outside of boxing no one cares, but AJ has a slicker team around him & a nice clean cut image so he will get more media coverage for doing less . boxing wise furys achievements are so much more than AJ , I also think fury is more popular among fans of the sport but I know his antic **** people off too

Fury comes across as not very bright to the elitist British media. AJ is charismatic, educated. The media loves him. British media despises and looks down upon Fury.

    Joshua:

    Is he black? - check!

    Criminal record? - check!

    Good looking? - check!

    Media personality? - check!

    Fury:

    Black? - Not!

    Criminal record - Not!

    Good looking? - Okey!

    Media personality? - Not!

As for the public, Joshua wins hands down.
