Pretty OK. Yet not mentioned are: Mosely, Chris John, W. Klitchko, J. Taylor. They are all in contension with Diaz IMO. I wish the P4P list was a list of the best fighter at this very moment if they were to meet and weight was taken out of the equation. Wright and BHOP does not do enough to stay up there, they had their time.
I believe so. There are new openings in the charts i.e. Wright and MAB aren't ranked as high anymore. The P4P charts is not forgiving.
WOW.... Winky - Mosely twice (arguably still top10 p4p), Tito (former highly ranked p4p), Taylor (former top ten p4p), Hopkins (lost to him, but at least fought him.....top 10 p4p)....plus went about 7 years without a loss and is arguably one of the best defensive fighters in the sport. Hopkins - Winky (arguably top 10 p4p), Taylor twice (former top ten p4p), Oscar (former highly ranked p4p), Tito (former highly ranked p4p), Tarver (shouldnt have been, but former top 20 p4p), Jones (lost to him, but still fought him....former highly ranked p4p)....and lets not even attempt to go over his accomplishments. Seriously, how dumb was that statement you made??? :verysad
Yes, he's probably right there. I think Hopkins, Taylor, Wright, Mosley, and Marquez should all be out of the top 10 by now. Just off the top of my head: (not in order) Pac Wlad Calzaghe Vasquez Cotto Floyd JMM Hatton Calderon I think he fits in there pretty well honestly. I just don't think Mosley, Hopkins, and Wright skillwise are P4P anymore.
Okay let me get this staright. A much obvious smaller Mosley who was fighting above his natural and more comfortable weight who hadn't won a fight in his last 4 (if you believe Oscar beat him like most do) who was obviously half of what he was in his prime not to mention NOWHERE near the P4P rankings by any means when they fought. You are really reaching here. Tito who had proven incompetent against Hopkins dominate and KO. Who was semi retired only having fought a Welterweight in Mayorga just before fighting Winky does not merit being called P4P. Put it this way, Winky had a harder time against JC Candelo and Gonzalez than he did against Tito. Tito Was NOWHERE near the P4P rankings by any means when they fought. :blood Dude, he didn't win. He drew with Fraudein Taylor. :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl Margarito went 10 years and whats your point. Yes, he is one of the best defensive fighters, it's also the reason why he is so boring. But being a turtle alone does not put you in the top 10 P4P list. Giberish. I see the word former one to many times in there. Not to mention his best wins are against Trinidad and De La Hoya who looked like Webster and that Mexican Dwarf next to Hopkins. Welters vs Lt. HW! Whooo! Tarver!! WOW! Please, as much as I respect Hopkins' abilities he is not P4P. U dumb.:smooch
atsch Im not even going to touch this. Your obvious bias is on full display. Your statement said that neither Winky nor Hopkins had fought any p4p ranked fighters (not true), I showed they have, then you go and discredit everyone of them for what they have done SINCE those fights. Or that they were smaller men. SRL was naturally smaller than Hagler, as was Duran and Hearns......does this mean those wins (I still contend Hagler beat Leonard) shouldnt count on his overall ranking or his p4p ranking at the time of the fights? Again, your statement was dumb. I can rip into just about EVERY fighter out there if I wanted to look at it biasly (you can always find fault if you look hard enough...doesnt mean its the truth)....but I tend to lend credance on a little thing called perception at the time of the fight, rather than hindsight....which is the wrong thing to do.
Not yet dude. But I believe he is well on his way if he continues to dominate his opponets the way he is doing it now. PLus he needs to add some big names in his resume. He can start by fighting Casa. :yep
You have never really liked Diaz. Credit were credit is due, he came through with an impressive stoppage victory, in a fight where more then a few people thought that Julio could win this.
