No. He has not defeated anyone worthy of that. The moment I saw him next to Penalosa I knew Jerry had no chance because of the huge size difference. Even when Jerry connected with huge counters they had no effect because of the size discrepancy. If Juanma beats Caballero, Vazquez or Marquez then I would agree. However all his opponents have been punching bags.

I think he's on the verge of breaking into the top 10. Just needs another sensational fight against an A level fighter (R.Marquez, Vasquez, maybe Caballero). He's got the skills and only needs some more polish on his resume.

I think he's hovering near the top 10. Give this strong boy time to develop his skills. At this point, he's almost unbeatable. -Coming from a Pinoy.

But Donaire, I believe, is still ahead of him.

juanma can make a strong case to be in top 15 p4p. somewhere in the vicinity of 11th to 15th spot is just about right..

would really wanna see him fight celestino caballero, izzy or rafa just to know how really good he is..

JuanMa's power is overrated, he should have been able to KO Penalosa who was smaller and moving up in weight. He also has questionable defense because he can be touched easily, plus he seems to lunge on the inside with his head down.

I see a bunch of promise in him and he could be top 10 in a few more fights, but I'm going to have to see him fight guys his size and in their prime before I call him a top 10 or 15 P4P.

I'm moving him up from 18 to 14, just behind Kessler and ahead of Pavlik.
