Hell yes!!:good, if they somehow let Gatti in who used his grill as his defense, then Jmm is a lock, he's a helluva lot better fighter than Gatti:deal..

The BHOF is so cheap and watered down, few including myself take it seriously anyways, when they let Stallone in who never boxed a round as a professional, that blew it for me..

Look at MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL, that's the way a real HOF should be, only the best of the best get in:deal

After just watching him at 40, box Alvarado's ears off, losing only one round on my card and nearly stopping him in the 8th,I would say most definitely.

P4P I'd give him a chance against almost any boxer in history. He lost to Floyd because of size. Otherwise, he will figure out any opponent and give them a war or a boxing lesson. Sure, there are greats that would knock him out, but he knows how to win, he throws beautiful combinations, counter punches and has enough power to hurt almost any fighter.

It is uneducated statements like the enlarged that cause problems. JMM NEVER claimed that Mayweathe'rs size was a problem. Rather he blamed himself for coming in too heavy. That is / was the class of the man.

Even in a boxing hall of fame which isn't watered down, Juan Manuel Marquez would be a very worthy candidate.

Magoo, I honestly don't think this is an opinion issue anymore. It's more of a question of how could he be kept out than will he be let in.

Hall of famer. Not all time great. Top 30 is all time great, and there isn't a fighter close to that since hopkins and roy jones in mid 2000s

I'd sooner watch JMM than either of those two.
Viewing him last night I was reminded of an older Duran ,confounding younger middleweights with his variety of punches and handspeed.

JMM is a real ring mechanic.
I'm not that sold on B Hop who throws about 5 punches a round ,or Jones whose deficiences were veiled by god given reflexes.
