Is Juan Manuel Marquez Hall of fame material?

If JMM was a fully fledged career welterweight:
1. Based on Floyd's history of cherry picking he wouldn't have fought JMM
2. The fight would have been a lot more competitive, in fact if it weren't for the fact Floyd fights so defensively and rarely leads (ie styles make fight), I would say JMM beats Floyd 8/10.

JMM saying size wasn't the difference shows class, but not necessarily how he felt or the truth. JMM fought at 135 and was called up almost two weight classes to 144 where Floyd didn't even attempt to make the weight but instead paid the monetary penalty, which was nothing to him but added more certainty to a deck that was already stacked.

Postmodernism: accepted knowledge is influenced by power (eg Floyd being a major drawcard and giving JMM an opportunity to make a massive payday as long as he keeps his mouth shut) and not the truth. I taught this to Masters students studying the foundations of knowledge.

JMM's resume exceeds Floyd's. JMM has ducked no fighter, fought the best, lost a few along the way but achieved more with potentially less talent but much more heart.

Zivic (Two wins over Armstrong)
Frazier (Win over Ali and a host of other solid heavyweights)
Lewis (Cleaned out the Division from the 90-2000's)
Foreman (Destroyed everyone except Ali)

That last paragraph is right along the line of my thinking.

I have to do my research to confirm my suspicions. I may have to do a resume comparision of Floyd versus the other fighter of his generation to get a good solid perspective of how much work he has done and not done.
