    Realistically, Pac beat Marquez twice.

Have you seen the guy fight? He's arguably the most skilled fighter in the world.

If you're gonna use the "past-it" factor, then who has Pacquiao beaten outside of Barrera? Morales was past it. Oscar was past it. You're saying Marquez isn't elite, so a sub-elite fighter arguably beat Pacquiao twice? No.

    Marquez is CLEARLY elite.

first of all my question is not directed to you...so why are you answering?

and second i didnt say marquez wasnt elite nor elite im just asking a question based on the TS definition of elite...next time dont answer if you're not asked or better yet think first before answering, you'll just look silly...

On whose list? Come off it, both these guys were decent beltholders, nothing more.

Agree with the general sentiment, but I think you're going a bit far to make it. Barrera (at the time of the first fight), Morales (at the time of the first fight, Marquez plus other useful guys like Larios were clearly in their primes.

That wouldn't even be a question, the answer is quite obviously yes! Who else is there who would even come close to it?

LOL.....don't worry about it. Every great fighter who had claim to the P4P top spot had guys saying the exact same thing. A lot of Boxing fans with emotional ties to one or a few particular fighters won't allow for anyone but their guy to have the top spot. PAC is one of the best in the last 25 yrs without a doubt....THE BEST??? I'm not sure but he has a right to the claim that is for sure. Floyd, Pernelle, DLH, Roy, Hopkins, Leonard ect all had critics stating they weren't as good as MOST felt. That they didn't fight the best or if they did, "the best were either" Hurt, Old, Shot or past their best days. What are you gonna do? Just laugh and enjoy the greatness before you! THere are a lot of great boxers today and we shouldn't over analyze the special fighters who LOOK for the toughest challenges out there.

They faught TWO times but I had Pac winning both. The first fight was closer but PAC was cheated out of a win while JMM enjoyed a gift draw which allowed him to hold on to a title he should have lost in the ring. Refusing an immediate rematch could have been his best decision for his career! A still raw PAC...still pretty one demensional....That would have been his best shot at beating PAC...now facing a COMPLETE fighter in PAC with all the same natrual gifts that gave JMM problems in their first and second meetings is like pissing in the wind for Juan.
