he would have though if the ref had let him. He hasn't got a great chin but certainly not glass. His defence is the main reason he sees the canvas, its non existent and he just lets his opponents punch him flush in the face.

 

It's just amazing how people that call themselves boxing fans use the term "glass jaw" without even understanding the meaning of it.

Obviously you haven't seen him wobbled and put on his ass by feather fisted bums and KOed in a matter of seconds by a journeyman whose punching power has been proven to be substantially overrated. Why do you think his entire style revolves around backpedaling for large portions of the round, stopping to fire off an amateur-esque pitter-patter flurry, and then resuming his backwards track meet? Because any time he stops he is subject to being hit and he is still horribly rocked EVERY DAMN TIME a punch lands on his Fragile Glass Mandible. He doesn't have a Chin and if you do not realize this, you should probably read more analysis from the Chincheckers before you resume discussing punch resistance.

He's got a great chin. He took some absolute banging shots all the way till the 10th round. The amount of hard shots he took one after the other and he never fell till the 10th how can you call that a glass jaw. What's your case for lopez having a glass jaw? did you not see salido land more than double lopez's power shots in every round. Salido's work rate was very high he threw over 90 punches in one round.
