he would have though if the ref had let him. He hasn't got a great chin but certainly not glass. His defence is the main reason he sees the canvas, its non existent and he just lets his opponents punch him flush in the face.
It's just amazing how people that call themselves boxing fans use the term "glass jaw" without even understanding the meaning of it.
Obviously you haven't seen him wobbled and put on his ass by feather fisted bums and KOed in a matter of seconds by a journeyman whose punching power has been proven to be substantially overrated. Why do you think his entire style revolves around backpedaling for large portions of the round, stopping to fire off an amateur-esque pitter-patter flurry, and then resuming his backwards track meet? Because any time he stops he is subject to being hit and he is still horribly rocked EVERY DAMN TIME a punch lands on his Fragile Glass Mandible. He doesn't have a Chin and if you do not realize this, you should probably read more analysis from the Chincheckers before you resume discussing punch resistance. Well said. He was obliterated by Money May who is completely feather fisted at 147. At least Glass Jaw JuanMa was able to get to his feet before ten, even if he was stumbling around like a drunk. Almost any of the guys on the Official Rankings are interchangable because all have been to ***** Street more times than George Michael.
YES! There should never be knockdowns or knockouts in boxing. That is absolutely pathetic! Heck, a fighter shouldn't even get rocked let alone knocked down. Mayweather showed a glass jaw in the Mosley fight and therefore should have LOST! Berto and Ortiz should have been declared a draw since they both hit the canvas, and their boxing licenses should have been revoked. Yeah sure UFC fighters get rocked by jabs, but that is completely off topic, we're talkin boxing and these fighters have some splainin' to do.
He's got a great chin. He took some absolute banging shots all the way till the 10th round. The amount of hard shots he took one after the other and he never fell till the 10th how can you call that a glass jaw. I guess if you lose a fight by KO these days you have some idiots on the internet say you have a glass jaw. Mosley KO'd margarito so i guess he has a glass jaw too. What's your case for lopez having a glass jaw? did you not see salido land more than double lopez's power shots in every round. Salido's work rate was very high he threw over 90 punches in one round. bunch of ******s in this thread
some suggestions for the glass jaw rankings jorge linares-knocked out in 1 round by an average fighter stopped by demarco who doesn't stop any one at top level. marcos maidana-hurt and dazed by khan (a guy with average power), dazed and out on his feet by an old ass eric morales, hurt repeatedly by every meaningful blow alexander threw) alexander povertkin-was on ***** street by the hands of a cruiserweight
