I was reading this article in spanish today if anyone needs it just ask me for it, anyways it was an interview with lopez's prboxing manager or whatever the name of that company is and this is exactly what he said translated

"Gamboa is not in our future plans, but there is a small posibility that we might fight him at t he end of 2010"

Are you kidding me, what happened to juanma getting on espndeportes and telling everyone to watch the "preview" so they could get their bets ready for june, what happened to arum wanting to make the fight happen on hbo in june? I'm just not understanding what is going on, why all of a sudden they don't want to make the fight happen, not talking bout top rank but prboxing promotions or whatever their name is

Should be a really good big fight.

I don't think Gamboa has a great chin like the last one Lopez fought, so it would be as exciting as hell.

Forget about Gamboa for now, neither man has proven enough to come together and and truly call it a megafight. I applaud Juanma for realizing that fighting Caballero is absolutely necessary. Gamboa I believe recognizes he's got to fight Chris John as well. I've said this before, if both guys win those fights, you put the two together and you've got a legitimate megafight

Deanofish:- agree totally - just hope Juanma will actually agree to fight Caballero, there's no reason not to; then after take Gamboa on after he's fought Chris John.

Really pathetic we were fed that the latin fury card with Lopez/Mtagwa was a setup for Lopez/Gamboa then Lopez goes life and death, then we were told that Luevano/JML is a setup for Gamboa/JML for the PR parade weekend and now they say at the end of the year.

santiago-concepcion is happening in february next year. maybe one of this would be juanma's midyear fight if he puls the win over luevano.

Just wanted to add that they said that at the most they will fight 3 fights in feather weight and at the end of the year or early 2011 they will go to the 130 division , probably wont fight anyone relevant and jump the division without any real test lol

imo its inevitable. juanma looks like a big jr. feather. gamboa can follow him there. 130 is where gamboa started as a pro.

i know he can man but that doesnt guarantee him that they will fight him , but he already said he wont move up until he cleans up the division , but i already had a trip planned for the fight on june, it pisses me off
