jimmy wilde was a banger and rarely weighed over 105lb at his best.

Well he's certainly one of the top few. His KOs would put the other fighter out before they even hit the canvas, that is the mark of a seriously hard knockout punch, and he could do it with either hand. Didn't really combination punch that much either, many of them were just one shot. Look at the KOs vs Norris and Graham, they are asleep as soon as they are hit.

Maybe one or two of the older guys would be in contention, that we don't really have on film. Wilde is a good contender but without footage we can't really see if it was combinations or single punches that scored his KO victories.

The Hawk may well have been the ultimate 1 shot killer..pity that his lack of defense and other standout qualities wouldn;t have shored him up vs the very best.

Certainly nobody is superior to Jackson as a puncher.

He gets that wicked leverage where his shoulder moves farther than his fist. Ouch! Sometimes Dempsey does that same thing. He pulls the plug on guys like no one.

Mugabi was great also, but Jackson kept his punching power with all levels of opposition which was the impressive thing. Jackson does have an argument for being best one punch knockout artist ever.

Iv never seen anyone H2H who was more of a frightening puncher than Jackson. He's by far the best puncher i have ever seen. Discombobulating power that literally seperated his opponents from their senses.

have you seen foster take out mike quarry.what a punch !! my dad who loved the bones of joe louis and thought he was deadlier than an army said that punch on foster was the best he'd ever seen.the left hooks he ko'd rondon and tiger with were just as deadly.
